Hot Chamber

Hot Chamber Process

In this method, the molten metal remains within a heated chamber integral to the casting machine and directly connected to the die cavity. An immersed piston then forces the metal into the die under high pressure. This process is ideal for metals with low melting points, such as zinc, magnesium, and certain low-melting aluminum alloys.
